Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the websites, platforms, and professional services operated under the VONFIDEL GROUP brand and the Cognisive advisory platform.

By accessing or using any part of our websites, platforms, advisory services, or related professional services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
02 Nature and scope of services
Cognisive and VONFIDEL GROUP provide strategic advisory, intelligence-led risk and security consulting, digital systems, and related professional services. Services are consultative and analytical and do not constitute legal advice, regulatory representation, law-enforcement authority, or governmental function.
03 Lawful and ethical use
Services must be used lawfully, ethically, and constructively. Misuse, interference, deception, rights infringement, or reputational harm is prohibited. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate service where legal, ethical, operational, or reputational risk exists.
04 Confidentiality and information handling
Information exchanged in connection with our services may be confidential. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, confidential information must not be disclosed to third parties, each party remains responsible for safeguarding its own systems and records, and confidentiality obligations survive termination.
05 Intellectual property
All methodologies, frameworks, materials, content, systems, written outputs, advisory structures, and related intellectual property remain the property of VONFIDEL HOLDINGS (PVT) LTD unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. No license, assignment, or transfer is granted except as explicitly stated.
06 Fees and commercial terms
Fees, payment schedules, deliverables, and commercial terms are defined exclusively in formal proposals, written agreements, or invoices. Non-payment may result in suspension, termination, withholding of deliverables, and lawful recovery action.
07 Availability and modification
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the websites, platforms, or services at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, continuous access, or error-free operation.
08 Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
- No warranty is made regarding specific outcomes, commercial results, or fitness for a particular purpose.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, reputational, or economic damages.
- Total liability is limited to fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

10 Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of Sri Lanka.
